Hi there. Sorry for the inconvenience. Vermilion is simply a good place to do trades as it is in Kanto and by the docks which can help you access different regions if needed. Also, there is an ongoing Halloween Spawn Event, which contributes to why there are a lot of people there. It's possible that they're hunting for the Halloween Squirtle. You can read more about that on our Spawn Changelog. As for the Radio, there is no purpose to that. The area Northeast of Vermilion is where the Easter Plateau was for the Easter event. Unfortunately, you can't access the area as of now because the event isn't active anymore. Please stay tuned in #announcements of our Official PRO Discord for further announcements on events.
