The reason why your question has gone unanswered so long is because you've posted it in the wrong sub-forum. Please post questions in the General Game Talk area. As far as your question goes, no you will not be able to return that Pokemon since you have started Johto. Kanto Pokemon are locked upon entering Johto. You could also face punishment for not returning this Pokemon; You will need to contact the owner immediately and inform them of your mistake and take actions to come to an agreement with them to finish Johto as fast as possible to return it. If it was indeed a "lending trade" than the Pokemon should automatically be returned to the user and you wont have to do these things. I hope for your sake it was a lended Pokemon and not just a trade agreement to return the Pokemon.
