I created a team based on discord info about that boss, BUT the boss was very different and i loose and it says that it will took 20 days to rebattle. There is no chance to catch manaphy then? Hi @xmonts ! I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I would like to inform you that if you have experienced a disconnection/crash or you killed/released a certain legendary, beating Nikola will give you another possibility to battle the chosen legendary. However, if you have not caught yet Manaphy, there is not a limit of time for how much you can try to catch it through Nikola. That means that if you have lost against Nikola, you should still be able to battle him and select Manaphy as a Pokemon to resummon. Keep in mind however that Nikola's cooldown is 21 days and, if you have already the caught data of Manaphy (because you caught it and released it) you will have only 1 more chance to resummon it after defeating Nikola.. Take note that a warn have been issued from us on our OFFICIAL PRO DISCORD saying that Nikola is now stronger than before. Quoting from discord: Nikola has been reworked. Be warned, he is now substantially more difficult. However, he now allows for the recapture of Manaphy. Furthermore, he will resummon each released legendary once. Take note that this does not mean he will resummon it until you recapture it - he will work ONLY ONCE if you already have Pokedex caught data. Utilize this at your own risk. CCs will be unable to help you recover your legendary if you release it intending to use Nikola as a reroll. This change is intended only for players who accidentally release their legendaries. Nikola will respawn Christmas Manaphy so long as Christmas Manaphy is normally available. Nikola DOES NOT work with Darkrai. Do not release your Darkrai. Oh yeah, Nikola bans items now too. Also, as stated above, Nikola will respawn Christmas Manaphy so long as Christmas Manaphy is normally available, therefore only for a limited amount of time. As for the next time you will battle Nikola, i suggest you to be as much prepared as possible and to bring with you anything that may improve the chances of catching Manaphy, like a great amount of pokeballs or a masterball and a Pokémon with status moves and false swipe. Also, make sure to select the best time to do that, checking that your connection is working correctly and that the server is not having issues. And if, in fact, I had a problem when i tried to capture it :( I couldn't do it because my pc failed and I had to restart the game :/ so i don't have the manaphy caught data yet. So, if i understood, i still have the chance to catch manaphy but in his standar form (not shiny or xmas) because xmas manaphy is able to catch as long as the christmas event will long, right? its fine for me then :D. As stated above, you have the chance to catch the Xmas version of Manaphy until the Christmas Event will finish, therefore you will be able to catch only the normal one.
