Just merged and can't login on Silver?

Hi!

 

I just merged my account from Red, since I haven't played since 2016 and wanted to drop by again.

But when I try to login to Silver, it says invalid username or password, while logging in to Gold works just fine and just made a character there.

Am I missing something before I can use my stuff from Red on Silver or what is wrong here?

 

Sorry if I wasn't supposed to make a thread here, but I tried looking around and reading threads and nothing seemed to help this specific issue.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience. This is a common issue that may occur after the merge.

Quoting our Everything about the merge - FAQ & ISSUES thread.

Q: I've already merged both my Red and Blue account but I'm still getting an "Invalid Password" error! What do I do?!

A: If you have already merged your data for the Silver server and get an "Invalid Password" error when logging in, please go ahead and change your password here, ensuring that it is alphanumerical.

 

That means that you have to change your password from the DASHBOARD making sure to choose an alphanumerical one (Characters allowed from A to Z and 0 to 9).
