Administrator Shinohara Posted January 8, 2019 Administrator Share Posted January 8, 2019 Hi all, want to ask that, can i use the repel trick without the synchro pokemon in 2nd party ? Hi @Jazlan94 ! I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I would like to inform you that in order to use the repel trick you only require the following things: A pokemon placed in your first party-slot that must match the level of the Pokémon you want to repel trick A good amount of Repel (Repel, Super Repel, Max Repel) With that said, you can even repel trick without using a Synchro Pokémon in your party. However, it is suggested to use a Synchro Pokémon in your 2nd party-slot if you are interested to find a Pokémon with a specific nature, since Synchronize gives 50% chance to encounter Pokémon with the same nature of the Pokémon that has synchronize as ability. Also, it is suggested to keep a false swipe Pokémon, as well as a Pokémon that can place a status condition on the enemy Pokémon (sleep, paralysis), in the team in order to improve the chances of catching a Pokémon. To check if a Pokémon can be repel tricket, and where, you can use the command ^repel nameofthepokemon on our OFFICIAL PRO DISCORD Also, for further information about the repel trick you can check our guide : REPEL TRICK GUIDE I hope what said was clarifying, let me know if you have any further questions or if something is unclear. Quoting our REPEL TRICK GUIDE these are the two possible team-setup you can use if you would like to repel trick using even a Synchronize Pokémon. Please, ready it and let me know if something is unclear. To be able to do the repel trick as well as synchronize the pokemon, you’ll need 2-3 Pokemon, depending on which method you prefer. You have two choices. Method 1: Pokemon with Required Level + Synchronize Pokemon For this method, you will have to put a Pokemon at the required level in the first slot of your party and it MUST be fainted. For the second slot, you will have to put your Synchronize Pokemon followed by your False Swiper in the third (If you have one). [spoiler=Method 1] Method 2: Synchronize Pokemon at Required Level Fort this method, your Synchronize pokemon has to be at the required level and place it at your first slot. It SHOULD NOT be fainted. If you have a False Swiper, you may place it in any other slot, but the first. [spoiler=Method 2] For further info and details, as well as where to get the Pokémon with Synchroniz, you can check our REPEL TRICK GUIDE I hope this was clarifying, let me know if you have any further questions. Administrator Shinohara Posted January 8, 2019 Administrator Share Posted January 8, 2019 im not clear about the nature of pokemon setup.. let say.. i wanna hunt a pokemon with nature jolly.. i need to put the same nature pokemon in the 1st slot ? or the synchro pokemon need to have the nature. Hi @Jazlan94 ! You have two methods you can use: FIRST METHOD: Put in the first slot any Pokémon with the required level for the Repel trick. IT MUST BE FAINTED/DEAD Put in the second slot a Pokémon with Synchronize Ability of the nature you want, in this case you want Jolly therefore you will need to put a Pokémon with Synchronize Ability and Jolly Nature in the 2nd slot. THE SYNCHRONIZE POKèMON MUST BE ALIVE [spoiler=Method 1] SECOND METHOD: Put your Synchronize Pokémon with the required level fo rthe repel trick in the first slot. IT MUST BE ALIVE. [spoiler=Method 2] The differences are the following: In the first method you use two Pokémon: the first one must be fainted and need to have the required level to repel trick, and the second one must be alive with synchronize ability in order to have 50% to have the nature you want. In the second method you use only one Pokémon that have both the required level and synchronize ability. The False Swiper Pokémon is not a must, you can use it or you can decide to not use that, it is used just to bring the Pokémon to 1 hp. I hope this was easier to understand, let me know if there is something that is still unclear. Have a wonderful day !
