now, I saw the big sign that said that topic about the server's condition would be locked yadda yadda, but I agree that it's important to keep the playerbase informed when this kind of stuff happens

 

even a ''ah shit I stepped on a cable and plugged it off'' would be better than silence

i think he is talking about 9h dc last night and now 3h right now. And want to know where are the problem.

Not that hard really, only 3 staff members have authorization to reboot the server while in down-times. They weren't available at the time so a reboot was impossible.

IDK, maybe a solution for this be let authorization to different regions. Meanwhile in Kanto is in the morning in Johto is afternoon. :P

I feel bad for the Admins. They go to bed and the server quits on them while they sleep and they have no idea to get up and boot.

 

I'd suggest exchanging phone numbers among staff, since this is becoming a nightly occurrence unfortunately.

Our staff members have their own lives to take care of too... Anyway, feedback given. Locked.
