I would like to inform you that to start the Pewter Museum quest you've to head over to Pewter City, enter in the Museum and interact with the Curator Nenius. He will ask you to donate 5 fossils: Claw Fossil Dome Fossil Helix Fossil Old Amber Root Fossil Once you will have donated all 5 fossils, the NPC will award you 1x Reroll ticket. You can obtain the fossils in many different ways, like dig spots, bosses, excavation sites, etc. You can find all the ways of how to obtain each fossil by checking our ITEM GUIDE .
