Tymerod
96406 Quagsires unaware does not work and it currently cannot learn recover. Otherwise it would be super strong. Quagsire is able to learn recover since egg moves are implemented!!! It is one of the best counters to rain teams with water absorb because of the immunity to electric and only one weakness to grass Guides: Hoenn Excavation Sites Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/11895-a-guide-about-how-to-counter-rain/page/3/#findComment-94502 Share on other sites

Kansu
Hi, thanks for this thread, awesome guide. As for the lead, I would suggest a slow tyranitar, as it would win the weather war right on turn one and can do whatever he wants to politoed thanks to his special bulk in sand. Also I'd add a part about Priority usage against rain, especially Talonflame, since he is certainly the best Ludicolo counter. However Extreme speed users like Dragonite can also help alot against rain matchups. And for people claiming Water absorb users beat rain, thats pretty much wrong since Ludicolo is a thing, and so is Kingdra. Quagsire would only beat Kabutops and the likes... My wishlist : - Epic Tyranitar (almost any nature) - Epic Jolly Garchomp 31 speed My shop: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=112&t=38654 Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/11895-a-guide-about-how-to-counter-rain/page/3/#findComment-94505 Share on other sites

Fizzo
rain team?? the answer is TERTACRUEL <3 120 base spdef not to mention rain dish ability + black sludge = 12.5% health recovery every turn in rain, really difficult to beat in rain. Only drawback is its low def so players run BOLD nature on tentas. it check many rain team pokes. Kingdra does pitiful damage with dragon pulse can easily stall out with toxic Ludicolo is afraid of sludge wave so is azumarill, tentacruel resists both its stab move water/fairy. and with scald coded tentacruel is really bulky on physical side as well if it gets the burn. Tenta also learns giga drain so ground/water type pokes r free health for tentacruel Tentacruel is also useful outside rain as rapid spin support n toxic. bye bye rain team   Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/11895-a-guide-about-how-to-counter-rain/page/3/#findComment-94507 Share on other sites

Kibitz
elyaskhan Ferrothorn is decent against rain but Kabutops will destroy it.
