Does Beat up actually base on base stat?

In PRO, I dont think so

How can beat up OHKO my scizor (HP/Atk)?

I tested beat up on showdown, it couldnt deal half Garchomp's HP even my team had 6 huge attackers

It should be based on base stat not stat :/

you guy should try beatup on pokemon showdown, cant deal even 1/2 hp of my arcanine with full team 6 atk, in this game always ohko

Base power = (party member's base Attack) / 10 + 5

My Weavile use beat up with a team of strong Attack, it's work like the above equation.

put a row of 3 strong ATTACK after Weavile and you will see how strong is Beat Up does.
