The sprites for oposing pokemon are all weird and vintage is there a reason for this?

Did you check what date it is today?? Maybe it has something to do with it.

The sprites were only changed for Generation 1 Pokemon because of the special date that is today. They are not worse nor better than the previously existing sprites, so nothing to worry about!
