Client login issues

Hi,

 

I still cannot login to the client. I am able to login to the website/forum/dashboard, but the client simply gives message "can not connect to server". I recently merged after an over 1 year hiatus. Not sure if it's a factor, but it is worth mentioning. I am using the Android client on a OnePlus 6T.

Hey @Lvdisturbed1,

to play PRO on your Smartphone you need the Android Version 4.4 and above. If it's the case you make sure that you don't use a proxy server. Some provider offer this service.

OnePlus 6T shipped with Android 9. My carrier T-Mobile doesn't use a proxy to my knowledge. APN settings for proxy server are blank.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

As first, i would like to inform you that the "can't connect to the server" is not related to any issue of forum/dashboard/website, but it means that your provider-connection cannot establish a connection with our servers.

Could you please try to totally reset your router and/or internet connection and let me know if it solves your issue? If not, please check with the following questions.

▪︎ Are you using Proxy?

Try not using it, and then test again

 

▪︎ Are you trying to play at home/work/school?

Your school/work or any public connection, they could have had their IP blocked already or be blocking the game on their network, you would need to ask them to find if that's the case

 

It could also be your provider blocking the game, which case you could try contacting your internet provider to try and get it unblocked as seen in this post

You could also use a VPN although you should check you're allowed first.

I need to rule out my carrier blocking connections to the server. Can you pm me the IP or domain name so I can do a ping test?

The plot thickens. I can log in fine with my wife's phone, so it shouldn't be a T-Mobile issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the client. Wife's phone is a OnePlus 5 and it works fine. My phone is the OnePlus 6T, and it simply won't connect.
