I see many players buy poke for the sole purpose of reselling it for a much higher price.

I am not talking about pokemon that are trained, or evolved, just a max pvp ready pokemon.

And these players are selling it even within 12 hours.

I think this is disrespectful to the original seller because the buyer is not respecting the time, effort, or appreciation for that pokemon. You can say it's allowed in the rules, or that it's "strategic," but at least have a timer of when they can resell. However few players this issue may affect, I'm sure you would not like to see a poke you trained hard be resold on the trade chat for potentially much more.

There is many ways to make money in this game.

Lending, Pokedex and Daycare service are some of these.

You can also hunt some Pokemon then sell them.

Some simply do all Boss every 15 days.

Buying Pokemon to sell them back a higher price is one of the easier way to make money.

I undestand that many players dont like that.

Still, even if this dosent need ''much work'', this kind of business is very risky.

If you dont buy the right thing right price, and if you dont find the right buyer right price, you can easely lose profit or even money.

I dont think there should be any kind of rules about that.

And understand me, I dont do that kind of business, I dont have enough money to do it.

But still, this is simply a ''trader'' work, wich also exist in real life. ;)

I can understand your frustration about this, but I disagree with this idea.

As someone who buys and sells alot of Pokémon, this would affect me not at all. I rarely bother to quick flip any more as I have enough cash to sit on pokes for abit now.

The people this will effect:

People with less networth for whom the quick trading of pokes allows them to either gain money or correct mistakes with little funds.

The ev training/lvling market.

Tldr: go ahead, money will still be made

thank you for your replies. A timer would not be beneficial after reading some comments.

In this instance, I'm referencing a sale of a scizor sold for 5 million. The buyer immediately after puts the scizor up for auction for 7m starting (however it was reduced to 5.1million).

This scizor was sold for approximately 7m in cash+items after auctioning

I don't understand how that worked, and I thought that although the buyer was very smart, it is unfortunate to the seller who missed out on the 7m sale.

Was it just circumstance that the seller missed out on opportunity?

If you're getting mad about this it's because you weren't able to sell it at the price they did. It's a very unecessary idea for a very dumb reason.

Wrong. I'm sympathetic to the people who are taken advantage of/ are given the wrong price check. Yes in hindsight the idea would not help.

It's a determined by demand and supply. If someone buys it, then that person wanted it enough to buy at that price. I don't see anything wrong here unless you're very against business practices?

irrelevant comment. Each pokemon is determined by their individual values, where as an item's value is determined by demand and supply.

I think you mixed up the seller and buyer. The seller may have wanted to sell at a price they are happy with, but may be uninformed about a fair price.
