If the staff and community agree I'd suggest to add an icon when a wild pokemon appears if hold an item. For example if a wild horsea have a Dragon scale in battle you see the icon (or a generic icon). On the one hand it may seem easy , but on reflection I think you should see if a Pokemon holding an item "visually". :Shy:

There is a sign for those pokes who hv hold items at right hand side of game. IF you are suggesting sign for held items during Wild pokemon encounter then i think its not possible.

But you can see the held items holded by wild poke with ability Frish which shows u which poke is holding an item.
