I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

I would like to inform you that the ability of your pokemon, unless it is a legendary, cannot be changed in any way after the encounter-battle start.

Once the battle start, the game automatically detect which ability has the wild Pokémon and it will never change, not in the battle and not once you have caught it.

Therefore, what you're saying is not a real thing.

 

The 5% you mentioned is the chance that a Pokémon has its hidden ability as ability once encountered. That % can be raised to 25% by using a Black Medallion.
