I am sorry for the inconvenience.

I want to notify you that 'Pokémons do not run away even if the player does not have enough Discovery points' as stated in the PROwiki, isn't applying anymore on the shiny rocks in excavation sites. Your discovery points matter in order to make sure the Pokemons don't flee from you.

In this Excavation guide you can look up everything about the excavation sites including how much discoveries you need to catch certain Pokemon.

 

Concerning the incorrect sentence in the PROwiki, thanks for showing us that it is outdated we will try to update that as soon as possible.
