Contrary
Because I used my very same Golduck to get to Sootopolis to begin with so I'm extremely confused, plz help :) Hello @Dreadstoner, Did you check if your Golduck has 150 or more happiness? It is needed to use moves such as Headbutt, Digg and Dive. You can check this by typing /happy 1-6 in the chat (1-6 is the number of your Pokemon in your party on the upper left side). If you trade your Pokemon or it faints it loses happiness, so please make sure you have sufficient happiness to use the move. I am looking forward to your reply. Have a nice day! 1 General Support | PRO Official Discord | Bug Resolution Center Please do not contact staff members for private support. Dreadstoner
Are you absolutely sure that it's only because of my Golduck's happiness?? Because he had never refused to use DIve at all and I mean literally right up until after I got the Rain Badge,so I was definiterly like what in the f?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Lol
Dreadstoner
Well I just checked his happiness which is currently 112,so I guess maybe the amount of happiness needed might be based of the poke's lvl as well?
Olker
No, you're simply killing your golduck too much.
Dreadstoner
On the contrary,I actually wasn't killing him at all,I left him in pc box for to long so he lost some happiness lol, nice try though!!!

Contrary
Hello there! Are you absolutely sure that it's only because of my Golduck's happiness?? Because he had never refused to use DIve at all and I mean literally right up until after I got the Rain Badge,so I was definiterly like what in the f?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Lol It is indeed only possible because of the happiness. You might have lost some happiness because of letting it faint in a battle or trading him (trading resets the happiness to 70). Well I just checked his happiness which is currently 112,so I guess maybe the amount of happiness needed might be based of the poke's lvl as well? No, a Pokemon his happiness has nothing to do with the level he has. The only thing that has to do with happiness and leveling, is you actually benefit from leveling up. You gain +5 Happiness. In this Happiness Guide you can find out more about happiness of your Pokemon. I hope I answered your questions. I wish you a nice day!
