So i traded one pokemon with a random dude and then i checked my storage and the pokemon is locked....why?

The Pokemon might be locked because u started doing some story or u didn't make the story from the region that the Pokemon comes from.

yea if the pokemon is locked in your pc, it means the pokemon is from a region that you haven't been to/finished yet

Hi MCUuni, I've had the look and the other posters are correct. As the pokemon in question (I'm guess the Salamence) was caught in Hoenn it will be locked in your PC until you reach the Hoenn region. You will be able to use it during the story in Hoenn region so you do not have to complete the region before getting it but you will need to finish both Kanto and Johto before being able to use the Salamence.
