Featured Replies

Hello guys. I'm new here. Don't really know too much about pokemons. Could you please suggest me the best pokemon trio to beat the main story?

Thank you!

Ok, I finished Kanto with solo Haunter. Didn't have time to get it to lvl 100 to evolve. Any suggestions for Johto?

The best Pokemon for Story overall are Gengar and Gyarados in my opinion :)

For Johto i suggest you catch a Dratini / Dragonair aswell

You can get those close to the end in Dragons Den in Blackthorn City

Thank you. Will try to catch it. Doing solo poke killing everything is boring. :)

Bulba will get you to end of gym 4 fastest(for trade). squirtle will get you through e4 fastest, don't pick Pikachu. Charmander is a long grind for 1st/2nd gym. Don't evolve your Pokémon untill lvl96+. With the same xp unevolved Pokémon are just as strong (Evolved Pokémon take alot more xp/level and gain less xp per fight).

Gyarados is good for e4, but it's terrible to level as is any dragon untill you have access to the best leveling zones. Gastly is good in any story and good for e4s.
