Idk if is possible, but maybe is a good idea to put an option in the pokedex where you can write the map where you are in, and in shows all the pokemons in the map (obviously if you seen it). Is more simple to see pokemon by pokemon

I'd say save it for an interactive Town Map that is kinda like the new Gen PokeGear. *drool*

 

That way you know how many Pokemon are available there, but you wouldn't know which ones are available there until you've seen them first. (Like skipo's idea)

This would be nothing like /list because you have to work to see the list of Pokemon in the area.

It would be cool to have the Pokedex state a list of Pokemon in each route.

Initially it would look like this:

Unknown

Unknown

Unknown

Then once you see a Pokemon it says

Unknown

Pidgey

Unknown

 

Then you know there are still two more Pokemon to hunt in that area.
