I'm not that knowledgeable on this quest but since no one else is responding I thought something is better than nothing if you still haven't managed to resolve it. This link is a direct wiki thread on New Mauville which could provide some assistance on location of items. If you have Windows, opening the client should automatically update. If not, delete all current versions of the files and redownload from the link provided.
