So Halloween event has come around again this year so I have decided to make a guide which you might find useful. Before we start I just want to say a major thank you to Yume!!!! thank you so much Aswell as Cames, Comrader, PharaoMage, Vector and Monhuntress for providing me with some info and a few corrections Quote 1.Halloween Quest Part 1 (You do not have to do this part if you had done it for the Halloween 2017 event) 2.Halloween Quest Part 2 (Darkrai) 3. Side Activities gaining (Halloween Tokens) 4. Halloween Sprites and FAQ Quote - A pokémon with the move surf or a surf mount - No Major Requirements though a few level 100 Pokémon are recommended. - If any moves/abilities are required they will be listed below. Quote First things first we need to go to the Halloween event area. We must speak to Sailor Pharais who can found in: - Kanto (Vermilion) - Johto (Olivine) - Hoenn (Slateport) - Sinnoh (Canalave) Now to activate part 1 of the quest we must speak to Vice Mayor Butch who can be found in Murky Town's lower central area. Once you agree to help, he will ask you to select which side you want to help. The choice is yours there is no better or easier option. Quote before you leave this area I advise you to collect some Halloween Candy becuase you will need it for later on. [spoiler=Murky Town] Treat: NPC Ghost Ronnie (gives you 1 Halloween Candy) Trick: NPC Officer Agus (gives you 1 Halloween Candy and 1 Orange Halloween Candy after you beat them in battle) [spoiler=Murky Town House 1] Treat: NPC Sandy (gives you 1 Halloween Candy) Trick: NPC Uno (gives you 1 Halloween Candy and 1 Red Halloween Candy after you beat them in battle) [spoiler=Murky Town House 2] Treat: NPC Baswedan (gives you 1 Halloween Candy) Trick: NPC Annies (gives you 1 Halloween Candy and 1 Orange Halloween Candy after you beat them in battle) [spoiler=Pokecenter Murky Town] Treat: NPC Witch Neroli (gives you 1 Halloween Candy) Trick: NPC Plumber Carl (gives you 1 Halloween Candy and 1 Red Halloween Candy after you beat them in battle) Trick: NPC Mummy Setnov (gives you 1 Halloween Candy and 1 Orange Halloween Candy after you beat them in battle) Trick: NPC Ghost Rafael (gives you 1 Halloween Candy and 1 Red Halloween Candy after you beat them in battle) You should now have 10 Halloween Candy in total and should head towards Ghoul Swamp: Now that we are in Ghoul Swamp we must head from entrance 1 towards entrance 2 shown below 3 ghosts will appear wishing to set them free. Then the Main Objective here is to find the the 3 spirits to allow you to go the next area. Note the Blue Circle is also a Potential Spirit Location. [spoiler=Ghoul Swamp ] Free Pokémon possibilities: ▪︎Gastly ▪︎Honedge ▪︎Frillish ▪︎Litwick Quote Now you have arrived at Unison Mountain South Summit. There are 3 different caves. However depending the side you chose the help out earlier you only need to know about 2 for now. [spoiler=Unison Mountain ] If you chose to Confront Serenia Village head towards the Pink Circle and if you decided to Confront Dread Town head towards the Blue Circle. Now we just need to defeat some NPCs in the way towards the respective areas and this is where your Halloween Candy comes into play. You will need 5 of each to enter the area you want. After you entred the Areas you must head to either Mayor's home. However they will be Guarded you must first challenge their advisers: Mummy Phase's Lineup: Houndoom, Alakazam, Gyarados, Spiritomb, Sharpedo and Bisharp Fairy Hilda's Lineup: Florges, Delphox, Sylveon, Excadrill, Clefable and Aromatisse Now after defeating them we now have to head through either Mayor's house and challenge the Mayor which you chose to confront: Mayor Vlad's Team: Absol, Zoroark, Honckrow, Gengar, Garchomp and Houndoom Mayor Camelia's Team: Gardevoir, Krookodile, Gastrodon, Chandelure, Sylveon and Altaria Quote We must now head to Unison Mountain to Confront Mayor Gorge he is located here in this cave: ] We must now Challenge and Defeat Mayor Gorge. Mayor Gorge's Team: Gengar, Gardevoir, Froslass, Golurk, Gallade and Giratina Quote To start Part 2 we must head to Dread Town and enter Mayor Vlad's house. There is a hole in the wall which we can enter to go to Necropolis via Spooky Path. [spoiler=Hole in the wall] Once we are in Necropolis we need to get a Pokémon with the moves Foresight and Miracle Eye. These moves can be on separate Pokémon or on the same. We must now head to Alucards Castle which is located in the north of Necropolis [spoiler=Alucard's castle] Quote Now that we are in here, this is where the move Foresight comes into place. First of speak to the NPC named Rhul and then Interact with the 3 ghosts in order. [spoiler=Ghost's] After this is done head up and speak to Rhul again and go up the stairs and find more ghosts. [spoiler=Ghost's] Speak to Alfred head down the stairs and head to the otherside and speak to Zhirm, then once again find a few more ghosts. [spoiler=Ghost's] Once this is done speak to Alfred once again and get ready to face Alucard, Master of Deception. [spoiler=Team 1:] Liepard, Murkrow, Whimsicott, Zoroark and Sableye After you defeat it this will anger Alucard and the pokemon with the move Miracle Eye will cause Alucard to reveal himself as a Darkrai who will then battle you and sweep your team. After you Black Out, you will get sent to the edge of Darkness and then sent to the Dark Realm. [spoiler=Edge Of Darkness ] Quote Please read this about the Dark Realm. So we can avoid any issues early on. If you ever blackout you will be sent to the Dark Corridor. [spoiler=Light Portals] There will be 2 light Portals here, going to the one on the left you can continue your journey. Interacting on the one I am standing on will give you an option to leave the quest. Once you press "YES". There will be no going back. As well as this, each time you black out, you will be sent to the Dark Corridor. If you black out 5 times, you mess up your chances with a "surprise" later on. Quote Now we are in the Dark Realm, we have no Items and no Pokémon. It is time for us to acquire a team. The first pokémon on our team will be a Munna, there is no requirements to get this pokémon. The locations of things to do are shown in the Map Below. [spoiler=Dark Realm ] After acquiring your Munna the next pokémon on your team will be Growlithe, he will be surrounded by a hoard of Gastly which you can either repel away 2 of the 4 with a repel, which can be found in the Pokeball next to them or Fight all 4 of them. I suggest fight all 4 of them for some exp as well as the Gastly being weak to Munna's Psychic moves. After this in the Dark Realm you'll notice some pokémon on their own once inteacting with them it will initiate a battle, as a reward for winning your pokémon will be given Exp and a chance of the following items to help you. Do note these pokémon respawn every 5 mins so you can gain more exp and items. They will only respawn on the Map if you relog/leave the area and come back. The following items: Quote [TABLE] [TR] [TD] [/TD] [TD] Item [/TD] [/TR] [TR] [TD] [/TD] [TD] Calcium [/TD] [/TR] [TR] [TD] [/TD] [TD] Carbos [/TD] [/TR] [TR] [TD] [/TD] [TD] Energy Powder [/TD] [/TR] [TR] [TD] [/TD] [TD] Fresh Water [/TD] [/TR] [TR] [TD] [/TD] [TD] Hp Up [/TD] [/TR] [TR] [TD] [/TD] [TD] Iron [/TD] [/TR] [TR] [TD] [/TD] [TD] Lum Berry [/TD] [/TR] [TR] [TD] [/TD] [TD] Protein [/TD] [/TR] [TR] [TD] [/TD] [TD] Rare Candy [/TD] [/TR] [TR] [TD] [/TD] [TD] Revive [/TD] [/TR] [TR] [TD] [/TD] [TD] Zinc [/TD] [/TR] [/TABLE] Quote Now after we head north of Dark Realm, we will be outside Dark Realm Castle. There will be a few Murkrow to battle. Just for some exp and items. Now once we enter the castle there will be Golbat side by side flying around they will give the same rewards as the pokémons mentioned above. The main objective here is to get ourselves a Clefairy. Below I will show and explain the steps on getting this pokémon [spoiler=Steps] This bit is pretty easy, first we interact with the Clefairy who likes books. We then interact with the bookshelf in the centre behind her. This just gives us some information about 3 Pokémon: Entei, Dragonite and Ho-Oh. So hence we should take time to carefully read and understand what the Dialogue says and interact and answer the questions in a correct order. Answers: - Entei (Volcanoes Erupt) - Dragonite (Jealousy and Left) -Ho-Oh (Sky) Once this step is done go to the location where the book is kept shown as 6 in the image above. Defeat the Roselia. Now go back and speak to the Clefairy and take it along with you. Now we should enter the area where the Pink Circle is in here we can heal our pokémon as much as we need and get ourselves an Alolan Rattata. To heal our selves enter this section where the computer is, interact with the computer and press the red button. There will also be a Pumpkaboo blocking the way just defeat it in battle and it will award you Trick Room. [spoiler=Computer Room] Now to get the Alolan Rattata, we must interact with all his Rattata friends and then go back to him [spoiler=Rat Locations] Now that we have these areas unlocked I advise you guys to level up your pokémon a little bit especially the 2 most valuable ones. Clefairy and Growlithe. I would say get both to around lebel 40-46 to be on the safe side. Aswell as this interacting with the trash cans inside this area will give you a Hyper Potion in each trash can. After this is done head through the hole in the wall where the Pink Circle is. Quote Now we are in Dark Realm Cave there is alot to do here. This again will be shown with an image and some description [spoiler=Cave] First thing we need to do is go towards the Pink Circle this will bring us to another room where a Mega Gengar named Umbra. The main task here is to walk in the shadows to find a Shiny Gastly and defeat it. Once this is done Umbra will appear in the middle of the Room and you will need to battle a level 30 Mega Gengar and defeat them in 3 turns (Perish Song). You must lead Clefairy and Stored Power is very useful for defeating the Mega Gengar. Once you have defeated Umbra you will be given a free Softboiled Tutor to teach your Clefairy the move for free. Ultimately you want this moveset for Clefairy [spoiler=Moveset] Moonblast, Softboiled, Cosmic Power and Stored Power. Now we head back to Dark Realm Cave and help the Cubone find its missing bone. Interact with the spots on the map in order to complete this task. Our last task here for now is to go to where the blue circle is and interact with the 2 Litwick and Lampent who are doing a ritual once you defeat them, you will get a Fire Stone . This will be used to evolve your Growlithe. Now we must head back to the Castles Main Floor and go to the Library section which is located north of the Main Floor. We must defeat Nightingale and Nightingale's minions. You will be attacked by 3 Murkrow (levels 31,32 and 33) and 3 Purloin (levels 31,32 and 33). After this an immediate battle will initiate against a Honchkrow (level 35) and Liepard (level 35) Once this is done there will be 3 Pokeballs on the table containing a Moon Stone for our Clefairy, TM for Thunder Wave and Black Glasses. After this interact with this section of the bookshelf in preparation for our treat. [spoiler=Bookshelf ] [spoiler=Treat Location ] We go from the Pink Circle to the Blue one, we can them fight Doctor Sweetz in this Room his team will consist of Pokémon which are level 25. [spoiler=Lineup] Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, Charmander, Charmeleon, Squirtle and Wartortle (all cloned forms) After defeating him he will award you with a Clone Kanto Starter of you choice. (That is if you have not blacked out more than 5 times in the Dark Realm) Though you will not be left without a reward if you do not complete this with less than 5 blackouts. You will still get to pick a Kanto Starter however it will not have the Clone sprite. If you win and do not know which one to choose, you can view the clone starter sprites in here. Quote Once you believe you are ready and have already prepared your team head back to the Dark Realm Map and head south to Magus Castle. [spoiler=Magus Castle Outside ] There will be a Haunter blocking the way. You must fight it and defeat it, after defeating it you can speak to the Ghost which you have saved, he will then teach one of your pokémon the move Reversal as long as they are compatible to learn it. Inside the building there will be alot of Mismagius and Pawniards. You can try and avoid Eyesight with them or fight your way up. There will also be an Absol blocking the way down a set of stairs, once this pokémon has been defeated you will be awared the TM for Ariel Ace and access to downstairs which leads you to Audino which can help heal your pokémon once again. Once you have reached the Upper floor where Darkrai is you will be met with a Horde of Pawniard and Bisharp which are level 40 [spoiler=Ambush] Note leaving this area to heal your pokémon will reset the scene completely. However this may be useful to you for leveling up your Pokémon. After this you will be met with a Shiny and Regular Spiritomb to battle. [spoiler=Spiritomb ] Once again we will have one final battle again against 2 of Alucard's Minions. They have a possibility to be the following [spoiler=Pokémon] Torterra, Infernape, Empoleon, Togekiss or Garchomp After this is done we must battle and defeat the Darkrai which is level 55 Congratulations you now have completed the quest and can capture Darkrai. You can leave the Area via the Blue Portal to get your Sync and False Swiper. [spoiler=Players who do not have Darkrai Rewards] - Fancy or Normal Darkrai forms - 1 Fixed IV Reroll allowed to lock one stat. [spoiler=Players who have Darkrai already Rewards] - Fancy, Normal or Pumpkin Darkrai forms - 2 Fixed IV reroll allowed to lock one stat at each separate use. To use the IV Reroll or Change forms speak to these 2 NPC's with the purple names: [spoiler=IV and Form changer ] Quote How to earn Halloween Tokens: There are Daily tasks which can be done. Speak to either Mayor in their home and they will ask you to hunt 1 kind of Pokémon for them and you can only get up to 10 of them. Hand them in and the Mayor will award you Halloween Tokens based on the IVs of the Pokémon. Once you have submitted your last Pokémon the 24 hour cooldown will begin from then on. [spoiler=example] Where to spend Halloween Tokens? They can be spent in Murky Town in the Purple/Yellow Tent Quote These Move Tutors are located in Ghoul Swamp. [spoiler=Locations ] Baton Pass - Abandoned House 1 [spoiler=Baton Pass] Weather Ball - Abandoned House 2 [spoiler=Weather Ball] Heal Bell - Abandoned House 3 [spoiler=Heal Bell] Quote If you have failed to capture Darkrai or accidentally left the Dark Realm you would need to fight mini boss Horon, Thief of Souls. He is located in Dark Valley. Which is North of Necropolis. However the real challenge to get the rewards here is to defeat this Mini Boss without having any of your Pokémon Faint at all. [spoiler=Boss] His team will consist of 6 level 100 Pokémon. [spoiler=Lineup] Absol, Gengar, Hypno, Bannete, Hydreigon and Zoroark Once you defeat him you will get your chance at Darkrai again. We can now continue back to enter the Dark Realm like shown above or Capture the level 50 Darkrai. If you somehow fail/lose he will have no cooldown. Additionally I would like to add that no further reward will be given for example the IV rerolls. You can view the main thread reagrding it here. However if you have already acquired Darkrai. After this battle. You will get this message. Do note you must have Darkrai first before you can choose to tame the Halloween Rapidash. Additionally if you use this Mini Boss to respawn Darkrai or continue in the Dark Realm and you successfully win, he will then have a 3 day cooldown for you to get the chance of obtaining the H Rapidash Mount. [spoiler=Dialogue ] You will then be challanged by a Level 75 Rapidash in the Halloween sprite form. Upon defeating this you will be awarded a H Rapidash Mount. [spoiler=Mount] [spoiler=Recommendations ] My Main Recommendation is to use: A Bold Volcarona. Holding the item Leftovers. [spoiler=Moveset] Flamethrower, Giga Drain, Roost and Quiver Dance To start of the Battle we will Quiver Dance Minimum 4× and Roost between this to regain HP. Then we can finish his Pokémon of with Flamethrower. Quote Q) When does this event end? A)18th November. Q) Is Darkrai banned in Rank PvP? A) Yes as of now, if anything does change it will be removed from the banned Pokémon list in here. Q) What do I do? The server crashed, how do I get Darkrai back? A) You will need to Fight the Horon Mini Boss, his lineup aswell as other information is shown above regarding the Mini Boss. Q) Where can I hunt Halloween themed Pokémon and what are the Halloween Sprite Spawn Chances? A) You can hunt them anywhere they spawn aswell as the chances being 1/50. Q)Are Halloween Pokemon still able to be repel tricked? A) some changes have been made you can check them here. Q) where is Fairy Mimi? A) The Quest involving Fairy Mimi is no longer available, this was part of the Halloween 2017 event. Q) Can we get the Halloween Rapidash Mount? A) Yes you can read up and you will see how. Interact with any Mayor they will give you an option of choosing between 1 of a Vampire Clothes or a Houndoom Mount. Aswell as this you are given 100 Halloween Tokens and 1 Pumpkin Hat.
