most people train in viridian forest or route 22 (west of viridian), i also recommend to level up through the various headbutt trees after you obtained brocks gym badge. Good luck for your journey

The bestway is using budew (viridian forest) lv13, that will help u alot in gym1 and 2 :Grin:

 

And Gym4 in case if you need to heal your fire pokemon

But I'm huge fan of Pokemon and Monster Hunter... so I combined it... Sorry ^^'
