Pokerespect
My friends and I have noticed that this game lacks an efficient or simplified way to train EV's, similar to the Super Training offered in later-generation games on the DS console. Right now it's grindy and down-right boring, but necessary for a good team later on. I was told to place the idea on a suggestion forum post. We proposed that, if the mini-game itself is out of the question for the Devs to produce, that there be some alternative, perhaps a building or zone in the Elite 4 area that allows for us to enter a zone that only drops pokemon of a certain EV return. So if we can't use the mini-game, at least we could have a simplified variant. The pokemon fought would give no Exp, but offer a quicker option for the EV training. It would offer an option for a time-sink for players and perhaps could be an alternative method to LOWER EVs besides just focusing on berry collection, not to devalue the worth of the Berry League feature. Hopefully this idea is useful, as I didn't see any similar posts when I did a search in the suggestions. Any other ideas will be welcome! Thanks for the time reading, devs. TL;DR : Super Training please. Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/14177-super-training/ Share on other sites

Master00maniac
One thing of note, effort values are rewarded on xp gain. So giving no xp wouldn't really work if pro is programmed to distribute them correctly. However making the mons low level would do the same thing in an ev arena sort of thing. Naero
Regarding a more fine-grained EV-training area: I should note that we do have the Safari Effort Wald, which is an augmentation to the safari zone that's tailored towards streamlined EV-training. For 5k (upon obtaining your 8th badeg), you'll have a 20-minute session in the Safari Effort Wald—a bi-divisional area that sectionalizes its Pokemon based on its EV yield. Despite price cuts and harvestable EV-reducing berries (which respawn once-daily) in the area, however, it's reportedly remained in disuse and doesn't even seem to be an afterthought when it pertains to the most popular EV-training areas. It doesn't seem be due to user discontentment with the area, either; rather, it seems to be widely unknown. If there is anything that can be done to improve the serviceability of this resource or to make it well-known, I would be interested in discussing it, because I will preface it on stressing that this will likely be as close to an EV-training site as we'll have for this purpose. Pokerespect
Couldn't it be argued that paying a fee to grind EVs is a bit of a redundant difficulty factor? Honestly I was unaware that there was a section already made for streamlining the training, but that's likely also because I only worried about paying a fee to enter so I could clear main game content. When I searched for EV training in Pro all that came up was random-mon hotspots where you could find most pokemon of a certain EV type in each area. The area likely in disuse because of the dual-cost of time+money if I had to take a guess, when one can peruse the world for free (or for monetary gain from battling random mons) and then the only cost is time. Master00maniac
I can understand a convenience fee. I mean it takes the annoying part out of using hotspots. But I really don't think 5k is a good price for it honestly. The slight convenience just doesn't seem worth that price. Now I can understand spending what you would typically gain from using a hotspots for 20 minutes. But that number is far less than 5k in most situations. Thor
u do realise this isnt a 'DS' pokemon game right? if u have come here for an exact handheld experience, uve come to the wrong pkace MMOs are built for longtivity, and PRO is no different. there wont be anything like the hand holding idea of super EV training here. we already have the macho brace ingame. this is enough Do not contact staff members for private support. Norbi
I get both parties here. Some people just want to get the "boring" part out of the way quick and get on with the fun, but some people (like me) just like to be a little bit boring and farm for long hours of your free time and EV train at annoying routes instead of wasting 10k on a Safari EV-training field for 20 minutes and just be a little smart and try to make the most out of your time while consuming the least amount of money, basically do necessary activities in PRO like you would in real life, smart. Vaati
If you can't farm a 'non hasard' factor, i can't imagine how you farm pokemons.... If you were an abuser of pokevirus and action replay, i can understand but god, is that 'this' boring to farm like 1/2h ?? Moreover, you speak about safaris to farm evs but there's a lot of locations where we can farm 100% one stat, https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=89&t=12825 And yeah, it's a MMO, stop think of the casual DS game :boot: Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/14177-super-training/#findComment-107936 Share on other sites
