resolved Cant see my friend

Hi developers and admin,

 

Recently I have been trying to bring my friend into the game, however I cannot see her character in most parts of the map. I can see at least some other characters and I have tried and undone the /foreveralone feature already to try solve the problem.

I can see my friend in: Viridian City near PC, and Stophouses.

I cannot see my friend in: All routes, Viridan Forest and Maze, and other parts of Viridian City.

Given that I play on a mobile network, is there anything I can do to help solve this issue?

I would like to inform you that it’s been setup that way to avoid overloading the map whenever many players are in the same place.

It's still possible to see some people on the map, just not all. In your case this might be annoying at time, since it seems you are guiding your friend. If it becomes to hard to do it this way make sure to use the Kanto walkthrough guide, so your friend can see where to go.

 

Sometimes it can be the connection of players aswell, so make sure to check if yours is stable.

There is nothing wrong with your friends account or yours.

No problem!

Something like that, 'detecting' specific players sounds very hard to code, but you can make a suggestion about it HERE.
