Darksun20
This rule has to be the most biased and unfair rule I've ever seen in a game. And here is why: In a match where decisions matter we should have every right to use as much time as the timer gives us to make a final decision. I seriously doubt people are deliberately "timer stalling" to get a rise out of the other player or concede out of frustration. How is it fair to be accused of doing something just because your opponent lacks a thick skin? Second of all, as someone who suffers from anxiety I bet you dollars to donuts many people like me don't touch PVP because of this rule. This rule breathes down our necks, we are forced to make a decision that we may not have wanted to make out of fear of being accused of timer stalling. 3rd of all, this rule impacts a certain playstyle: Stall. This is a very tough play style to get a good grasp on, I have met many stall players and they all agree that stall is a play style that requires lots of thought process, so the timer is our greatest weapon.. I can understand the frustration people have facing against them, but it's part of the game. A rule should not impact someone's own play style. In short, I suggest this rule to be removed as it causes more harm to the player base than good. Edited August 18, 2020 by Darksun20
Leo
Comprehend the rule again. Time stalling is none of the things u described. I seriously doubt people are deliberately "timer stalling" to get a rise out of the other player or concede out of frustration. Happened, and will keep happening, hence the rule is needed. Darksun20
Comprehend the rule again. Time stalling is none of the things u described. Happened, and will keep happening, hence the rule is needed. First of all, PP stalling and switching is part of a playstyle and switching is part of the game. Stall uses both frequently. Second of all, we have a timer. We should be allowed to use all the alloted time we have to make a final decision. You know what, I am going to make a petition to remove this rule. I am going to make a thread for this as well as ask people in game if they would like to vote against it.
Leo
First of all, PP stalling and switching is part of a playstyle and switching is part of the game. Stall uses both frequently. ... Switching, PP-stalling (pressure mon, etc.), stall style, are all allowed. You won't be judged guilty if you do all that for a reason, however miniscule the reason is. Remember, the party report you has to provide video evidence. Staff needs to review the video to see if you did stall in some way for no apparent reason, other than torturing the opponent or forcing him to give up due to time constraint. You understood the rule wrong, that's why you found it unfair. All the examples you told won't be punished. They are not time stalling, pp-stalling, etc. Period. I suggest you to try to understand the rule again before making the petition to save time for yourselves.
G3n3r4l
Not to be rude here, but you using you're anxiety as an excuse to have something changed/removed does not look well, the pvp timer is in the game for one, so that people dont just stop paying attention to the game and force their opponent to wait for them pointlessly, and also to just avoid long games, calc what you need in the time you have, doesn't take that long.
