I cant go to end of water and no words "what is happening" show up why?

I did like in guide said but its still nothing..

had the same problem got all the glitter and couldnt get the prompt. i did notice that one the first glitter in the row of pictures i got into a fight with a wild pokemon beforehand and that may have glitched it?
