Noxious Posted August 30, 2020 Share Posted August 30, 2020 . Hey there! As Bhimoso already mentioned, it will not take your Totodile to level up longer just because you taught it a move. The only thing that affects the exp gaining of Pokemon is its evolution (takes more exp to level up once evolved) and switch traning (the exp will be split between all Pokemon participating in the battle).
