I used to play a long time ago and have just recently wanted to start playing again. i try logging to silver server and it says "invalid username or password", but i can login just fine in gold. problem is, i dont have any pokemon in gold so i assume all of my progress was made in silver server. the issue was fixed, I needed to merge my red and blue accounts so i could login to silver. now i can login to silver.

Your issue is probably caused as you may need to do a Server Merge. You will only need to merge your account's progress in the Dashboard, choose which Story Progress you want to keep and then reset your password. You should be able to continue then.

Then, you only have to reset your password in the Dashboard and you should be ready to go!
