disable when you get a pm/notification the pop up sound, can be annoying or scary if you're at 3:30 am like me looking through forum and the pop up sounds so loud.
Or add the option to disable it

You can disable forum sounds by visiting Notifications > Notification Settings > Scroll down to the bottom, look at the lower left hand corner and deselect "Play a sound when notifications are received."
