Exotyc
Quote ▹ Hoenn Champion ▹ Torchic, Treecko, Mudkip (must be OT) Quote Head to Devon Corporation building which is located in Rustboro City. The receptionist will tell you to speak with Teseo on the second floor. Teseo's excursion team have run into trouble with a Spiritomb. They are located in the depths of Route 216 Underwater which you can access from Sootopolis City. Before you go there, bring an OT Torchic, Treecko or Mudkip for the respective Mega Stone. Spoiler Quote Here is a video guide on how to reach the Cursed Keystone Grotto, starting from Sootopolis City. Spoiler guide for map.mp4 Quote Arriving at the grotto, you can speak with Devon Scientist. He will tell you that during the underwater excursion, his team discovered this gotto and found a Keystone and a few Mega Stone in the back of it. When he tried to approach it, a Spiritomb came out and sucked him into his soul where he barely escaped, but his Marshtomp was badly hurt and was cursed. In order to free the Marshtomp, you need to defeat the Spiritomb and steal all three Mega Stones. You can find the Spiritomb at the back of the grotto. After getting swallowed, you'll be teleported to his soul. Spoiler Depending on which starter you chose first, the Pokemon change after each turn and have different sets of moves that they use constantly, which means all Pokemon will only use 1 or 2 moves! There are a total of 7 turns, including the Spiritomb battle. And after each fight, you can allocate the EVs, teach your Hoenn starter a new move and it will slowly evolve into its last evolution line. There is also an Effort Redistributor where you can change the EVs after each battle. Quote The amount of retries you start with depend with how good your Pokemon is: Ceiling of (Total IV divided by 35) +1 if Happiness > 240 +1 if Total EV = 510 +1 if Level = 100 +2 if shiny or event form Minimum of 2 retries You lose one retry on every defeat, but also gain one retry on every victory. The amount of retries you have remaining can be estimated according to the message you receive when you are defeated: - No more retries: "Your Pokemon is barely standing on its feet... It won't survive another defeat!" - 1-2 retries: "Your Pokemon is back on its feet. However, you can tell it is getting tired. It won't last much longer!" - 3-5 retries: "Your Pokemon stands firm and awaits your next order!" - 6+ retries: "Your Pokemon stands strong and is eager to resume the battle!" The scientist outside can also estimate how many retries your Pokemon will actually start with: - 2: "It does not seem to have much willpower... You can try bringing it, but its willpower might break easily, winning against Spiritomb's spirits will surely be difficult." - 3-4: "That's a fine-looking Pokemon. It seems to be willing to try to fight, but I doubt it will last too long." - 5-6: "Your Pokemon seems quite attached to you. Its willpower won't break so easily, I can guarantee it." - 7-8: I can see this Pokemon wants to go the extra mile for you! You've trained it well, and it surely won't give up so easily!" - 9+: "... I am at loss of words! I have never seen such a powerful between a Pokemon and its trainer! It's beyond worthy of a ribbon!" 【 General Support ✘ Bug Resolution Center ✘ Complaints Area ✘ Report Center 】 Please do not contact staff members for private support.
