In game Status (online, away, offline) change

Online - Anyone can pm you

Away - Only Friends on your friends list/guildmates can pm you, all other pms will be send a message in chat that this person is currently away and cannot be reached at the time.

Offline - Complete going dark, no one can pm you.

 

This suggestion is mostly for the "away" status as its just a way to show your friends/guildmates that you are currently not at your keyboard/afk/doing something else at the time.   Making this change will allow you to chat with friends in pms and still not have to worry about spam from other players interfering with your chat.

 

Also part 2, make offline mode block guild requests.  So things like this cannot happen anymore.
