My Starter got duped and replaced my Pelipper

I just started the Hoenn region and picked torchic as my starter and caught a wingull after using my pelipper to clear the first and second gym I headed to slateport and logged out on logging back in my torchic was duped and replaced my pelipper. it has the same exact everything as the other torchic.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that the pelipper also had my leftovers on in which are now also gone..
