i need help with quest CATCH LEGENDARY BIRDS

hello guys i watched the video in youtube 

and i take with me only 2 pokemons to the island cloud nine ability + shadow tag and i have 15 ice gem+ 15 fire gem + 15 eletric gem and i have 6 lvl 100 fire type and have master ball and rapel

i did all the last as in the first the video %100 sure but when i go and talk with Meldoy its show only this line " i must chosen one " nothing else show up again

shall i do something first ?

From my understanding, the Melody NPC in the hall on shamouti island doesn't ask for your help when prompting her dialogue, is that correct ? If so, could you please try to interact with the legendary birds in their respective location ? (Zapdos in the kanto power plant & Articuno in the seafoam island). 

 

Let me know if that corrects the issue.

i did saw 2 birds except zapados im afried if i walk with him i will fight him without asking me to fight or no because i want to catch him with m-ball so i want to know if i go saw him and talk with him he will asks me to fight or no ? like a bosses

Were the birds you saw on Shamouti island or in the places (Power plant, seafoam island) I mentioned ? Either way, if you are still at the beginning of the quest you won't be able to catch the birds directly. You will be required to collect the 3 orbs on each island before getting access to them. You can follow this guide if you'd like.
