Lewolfe
Oh btw, I'm not here for justice nor retribution, I just want you to know how people treat newbies. I'm new in pokemon and loving the game. I know the basics but Im not good with the details and everything. I was hoping to meet kind people and helpful people who could show me around and teach me the ways. While I was selling my beloved budew since I needed money for my bike to get along with the quest, this dude showed up. I was just posting an auction and selling my budew but he blatantly came up to me and flamed me. I have no idea why but I think he see me as a troller. But guys, I mind you, i love playing I have only played 35 hours of pokemon (7 hours are from my childhood) and the rest is here. So please rather than flame someone, help them grow. I'm so disappointed on how the community see newcomer. And I'm so sad that they'll even flame you for being a noob. Also, no matter what the case is.. I think that my pokemon has a value worth that sum of money. I  them but i need money :Frown: Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/16696-this-is-how-people-treat-newbies/ Share on other sites

Katiekitten
I wouldn't generalize the entire community based on this individual experience. There are many people willing to help to at least a certain extent. I'm sorry you encountered a bad experience. I still am pretty new to Pokemon even with tons of play time. I never get out side of the casual level generally. People are still generally willing to help me. I hope you run into happier people  Have a good day! :Shy: Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/16696-this-is-how-people-treat-newbies/#findComment-123510 Share on other sites

Seavvaves
First of all Your price was too high, probably way too high. Anyway there is no reason to get insulted, in every game you have players like this so.. w/e, just ignore. Community here is great, alot of helpful people and like [ref]KatieKitten[/ref] said dont generalize the entire community because of this weird situation. Stay positive  Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/16696-this-is-how-people-treat-newbies/#findComment-123512 Share on other sites

Mayelesa
Quite funny, the false for both guys :n: I hate when people go up price so unreasonable, but I will keep silent for them. Or just hints them about price, if not hear - ignore then. And you need ask or consider to market before setting the price too. Einstein
Hey Lewolfe firstly I personally apologize for any insults you've encountered. We generally have a very welcoming community but sometimes people are people and the worst happens. Generally it is a good idea to watch other prices to get an idea, and to not spam sells when someone ins't biting, when no one bites it likely won't sell. Also it would've been a good idea to close they're messages and not continue to play into any trolling or anger they had. I hope you continue to enjoy you're time here in PRO.
