The first thing suggested to do in these cases is to delete all the old pro files and folders that you have on your device, including the temporary files (https://tinyurl.com/deletetempfiles) and the trashbin, and then redownload the latest client from here. If the said procedure should not fix the issue, please open the console with F2 and type "clean reg" and then enter. I'll be waiting for a reply if that worked.
