New character inaccessible after attempted server transfer...

I have an older account with an old Silver character from 2016.  I do not play this character.  I recently made a new Gold character.   

 

I tried to server transfer on the Dashboard.  After doing so, its only letting me see my older character now on Gold.  It won't let me login to my new character on Silver.  It says invalid user name and password.  Its like it lost my new character.  Can someone here help?

Norex helped me on Discord.  I needed to do a password reset after the account merge.  I am good now.  THANK YOU NOREX!!!
