PRO is always on a lookout for new mappers to join the team. Custom regions have been discussed publicly and they may become a reality in the future. I can see why putting that together would be kinda tough for those involved, the semantics of what fits where among other issues. I've worked on 2d games but with our own assets and even that got a bit confusing for the coders at times (maybe it's different for ya'll, idk.) I still think it's a cool idea though.
