Sometimes we are hunting pokemon that appear only at night. it could be very useful to know the current poke time so we can log in at the needed time and keep hunting instead of waiting in game until the night time arrives.

As nice as this would be, what if you saw it was night-time ingame, went to login and found yourself in a 30 minute queue? You lose a lot of the time you wanted.

It's a nice idea and I can see why you would want it implemented, but currently I would say it's unviable while the queues are volatile and often long. Though it is nice to plan ahead, not a bad quality of life update by any stretch of the imagination.

With the timer you could try to get in at for example 18:00hs poke-time taking into account a 30 min queue to start playing around 20:00 pm poke time nighttime. Just an idea.
