I consulted with our Artists and here is an explanation: Quote oh thats cuz some hairs don't work well on certain hats. so they automatically shift to another default hairstyle that works. cuz otherwise they clipped through the top of the hats. Fixing this would be an extremely large amount of work for a seemingly harmless "bug". Every affected hairstyle would have to be fixed for every piece of affected headgear. So, unfortunately, this will not be changed any time soon. My apologies for not being able to assist you further. If you have any more questions or concerns, please let me know. This is because the benefits from doing so do not outweigh the amount of time and effort it will take.
