So, i went to Matsuaki Village and the 43 Rare Candy i had disappeared  when i picked up a Rare Candy in the Wasteland.

My apologies for the inconvenience. It looks like you started the Heatran quest but were unable to complete it. The NPC Buck at the start of stark mountain currently holds your rare candies and they can only be returned once you beat the level 99 Heatran. I would recommend using a Gyarados to complete the quest, having moxie will help and the usage of focus sash will make the quest easier. You can also catch other pokemons that spawn there to ensure that you do not black out. 

 

As a future reference, it's better if you use the account afflicted by the issue or at least mention which account is experiencing it if you use an alt. This way we can investigate the issue quicker.
