[Can be closed] Code Foul Play in PVE correctly

Featured Replies

Hello,

I am making this Suggestion because its a huge upside for hunting.

The move Foul Play is right now coded incorrectly in PVE (it doesnt use the opponents atk) which makes weakening pokes with it impossible.

With the move Foul play coded correctly, Umbreon will be a second all in one hunting pokemon besides mew (-roleplay)

HOW IT WORKS:

Umbreon with Synchronize

-Charm

-Foul Play

-Yawn

-Covet

On the encounter u can weaken the pokemon with Foul Play, use Charm on high atk Pokemon, then Yawn them and send them to sleep.

On a non target u can Covet the held item if needed.

THE MAIN UPSIDE:

Hunting for other Natures in BCC without Set changing / nature rerolling the mew, or waisting a lot of balls

I assume this should be a quick change and it will have a fair amount of impact to hunting, especially if i am in an area with held items (switching costs a ton of time if u catch over 200 pokes f.e.)

We can close this

Stupid me didnt know Level matters in Damage Calc, which makes this strategie unviable and makes me think its already coded fine.

My bad, have a good day 🙂
