Ferroseed's only ability before evolving into Ferrothorn is Iron Barbs, which means that it has a slim chance of receiving its Hidden Ability, Anticipation, when it evolves. This happens with other Pokémon, such as Pupitar, and there is nothing we can do about these unfortunate cases. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
