Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and sorry for any inconvenience that it may have caused. Our Content Scripters are currently aware of this bug, but there is an easy workaround for the time being. Since the problem only seems to occur when you try to place the last Pokemon in your party, you can put another one down and call it back. You should then be able to place all of your Pokemon as intended. Please let us know if the issue somehow persists after following these steps.
