you have to beat horon boss without any of your pokes fainting in the battle and he will reset darkai in alucard castle for you.

As already mentioned, the boss "Horon, Thief of Souls" located at Dark Valley restores the Dark Realm quest, which also serves to restore Darkrai if you have failed to catch for any reason.

Keep in mind that you have to defeat him without having any of your pokemons faint.

A little note that the cooldown for the boss is 3 days.
