quests from NPCs with red name

Featured Replies

I'm playing is 5 days and saw some NPCs with red name, like Brock in the cave and Professor Oak in the laboratory on the island down there and head of pumpkin .

I wonder why the red name and what to do with them.

The red name above the NPC's head specifies that they're potential boss battles for the near future!

Yesterday saw a player in battle with the Oak Teacher

They are boss battles.

Ultra hard PvE battles for when you have reached milestones they look for.

Some require you have lvl 100s, some require a certain amount of gametime. some require pokedex count etc.

In addition to what Arnie said, you can find more information about the Boss NPCs by checking out the following guide from the guide section of the forums: https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=89&t=9593
