Hi i got a bug recently in boss maribela in which my ninjask was in substitute and her sylveon was paralyzed and accurancy -6 he used hyper voice and my ninjask failed this just happened to me and i also took screen shot which will post below

All sound-based moves can bypass a substitute and attack the Pokémon directly. Hyper Voice is a sound-based move, therefore it was able to hit your Ninjask even with a Substitute active.
