Hello @JadeAsh. My apologies for the inconvenience.

 

This interaction has been known for quite some time, but unfortunately there is no solution to it. This is because the spawn happens during a script, thus the game freezes the player and teleports you to the PC after logging out. 
 

We can only recommend using a repel while climbing waterfalls to avoid this issue.

Cant you make waterfalls like an auto climb action that doesn't get interrupted? Like the same thing with the Teleporters in Hoenn and Sinnoh. Or treat the waterfall squares as non-spawning squares?

The first option would be too cumbersome to implement. As for the second option, it is not possible due to how waterfalls tiles are coded.
