Chameleon
I don't know if this has been suggested before (couldn't find it), or if this is one of the additions planned to be introduced soon but I would like to point out that this game needs Power Items (Bracer, band, lens etc.) asap so EV training gets less time consuming. Levelling up pokes is already taking much of our times and although Macho Brace does help, it still requires considerable amount of time compared to Power Items. Please introduce Power Items as soon as you guys can to make EV training more convenient. Thanks. Parpar
The reason they haven't implemented these already is because it cuts the time for EV training by way too much. This game has always been about the long-game, not the short-game. I'd be surprised if what you're asking for gets implemented at all, but the Macho Brace really isn't that bad for EV training at all, you've just gotta find the right spots with consistent Pokemon and you're good to go. Beau
In my opinion, I like how it is at the moment. With a bit of research, game knowledge and a little bit of creativity you can make it easier to train all the effort values for your Pokémon. Kokas
Dosnt take to long to ev train? I pick up a fresh pokemon low level and need 4 hours focused to max ev train and 1 hour watching videos and playing to lvl up to 100 Not complaining about the grind, but people pls be realistic ev train still a pain About the items ur suggesting, they will prob never be implemented, because this is a mmo and big part of it is the economy and the grind u need for it. All they are doing is for the best of the game, and u dont need to realize it but u have to trust the developers, cause they are doing an awesome job. If u want a cheesy game, u can always go back to the original pokemon games Full Steel type trainer Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/19893-power-items/#findComment-139966 Share on other sites
Drialmeida
But you do have the bracelet to reduce time ingame :) Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/19893-power-items/#findComment-139967 Share on other sites
Unholyone
I don't think this would be agood idea since it would remove or diminish a whole branch of trading, the daycare. As Beau rightfully pointed out: 136078... With a bit of research, game knowledge and a little bit of creativity you can make it easier to train all the effort values for your Pokémon. Last time I EV trained a Tank 252 Def / 252 HP / 6 SPD and levelt it up to 100 in 3-3.5 hours. Ofc there are ppl needing twice as long or even longer but it's not the games fault. I don't criticise your Idea but I want to remind you that we are still dealing with an MMO here. If you don't want to invest playtime in EV Train and Leveling hunt rare pokémon, sell them and hire a daycare. Silverwingxx
I mean, you gotta atleast put some work into ev training. It needs to be worth something you know. It would screw up prices of competitive pokemon. Link to comment https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/topic/19893-power-items/#findComment-139969 Share on other sites
Chameleon
Oh come on, it does take long enough to be annoyed with it and considering there's already a mechanic in the official games, the thought of spending hours on just EV training takes the frustration to a new level. Especially if you have a lot of pokes to train. Now I do know this 'isn't like official games, this is MMO, you need to grind bla bla...' but not everybody has the hours everyday to train. I'm not saying 'make this like showdown' or anything, but making it a little more convenient won't hurt at all. It may decrease the profits of daycarers, but it will in no way remove them. 136266 I mean, you gotta atleast put some work into ev training. It needs to be worth something you know. It would [Censored] up prices of competitive pokemon. Having Power Items will not mean 'no work will be put into EV training'. It'll just be more convenient, and give those with less time on their hands a chance to train their pokes themselves and keep their money in their banks. Competitive Pokemon prices should be more dependent on the said pokemon's IVs and Nature anyway. Level and EVs should have little effect on their prices. See the difference is that this is an online environment. In the main games you pump out trained pokemon like a machine just for battling, but in this game more time is put into a good team, and pokemon. Be that because of finding it, training it, or raising the money to buy it. And leveling and Ev'ing a pokemon increases the price dramatically. And is the purpose behind the daycare services offered by players.
