You probably didnt beat Umbra during the Dark Realm quest which is required for the Mega-Gengar quest. You now have to beat Horon in the Dark Valley without letting one of your pokemon faint, then you will be able to re-enter Alucards castle where you can access the Dark Realm again after beating Alucard.
