Hello @Nave420,

PRO have the same rate of shiny Pokemon appearing in wild as in handheld games: 1/8192. While, Pokemon obtained from NPCs, reviving fossils and abandoned Pokemon have a quite increased rate of being shiny than wild. Also, a free shiny Rattata is given to the player after defeating Youngest Joey Boss which you will encounter in your story after completing Johto. Please be aware that you are not guaranteed to encounter a shiny Pokemon after 8192 wild encounters; these are only odds. This element of the game is entirely dependent on your RNG (Random Number Generator) in the game. For more detailed information about shines and other counterparts, you can check this wiki page.

For the players who already know the things written above but still commented, for them, I am really sorry. We can't do anything if you don't have a shiny Pokemon even after 1000s of hours.

Hope you understand and will get a shiny Pokemon soon. If you are still having any more questions, feel free to ask them here.

Kind regards,

Yverneas.
